The Realme 16 5G has been officially announced globally and is now expected to launch in India soon, bringing a 6.57-inch AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, and a 7,000mAh battery with 60W charging. The device runs Android 16 with Realme UI 7.0 and comes with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
This matters because the Realme 16 5G focuses heavily on battery capacity and durability, while still offering a high-refresh-rate display and 5G connectivity. With IP68 and IP69K ratings and a relatively slim 8.1mm body, it positions itself differently from typical mid-range phones.

The build includes a glass front with a plastic frame and back, weighing 183 grams. The device also carries IP68 and IP69K ratings, which is still uncommon in this segment.
It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Series chipset built on a 6nm process. The phone is available with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, along with optional microSD expansion using a shared SIM slot.
