Highlights

  • Honor 600 Pro and Honor 600 will launch globally on April 23 with key specifications already listed officially.
  • Both phones feature a 200MP primary camera and a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
  • The Pro model uses Snapdragon 8 Elite, while the standard version runs on Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.

Honor has revealed key details of the upcoming Honor 600 Pro and Honor 600 through its official global listing, confirming core specifications including a 200-megapixel primary camera and a 7,000mAh battery. The two smartphones are scheduled to launch on April 23, and the early listing provides a clear look at their hardware and positioning across segments.

The Honor 600 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, while the standard Honor 600 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. Both models share several core features, including battery capacity, charging speeds, and primary camera hardware, indicating a consistent foundation across the lineup.

Honor 600 Pro and Honor 600 design and display

Both smartphones feature a metal frame with a matte finish and measure 7.8mm in thickness. The Honor 600 Pro weighs 200g, while the Honor 600 comes in slightly lighter at 190g. The devices are built with durability in mind, carrying IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.

The front design focuses on minimal bezels, with Honor claiming ultra-slim 0.98mm borders around the display. While detailed display specifications such as resolution and panel type have not been disclosed in the listing, the emphasis on slim bezels suggests an immersive viewing experience.

Performance and battery details

The chipset difference clearly separates the two devices in terms of performance. The Snapdragon 8 Elite in the Pro model targets flagship-level tasks, while the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 in the standard variant is designed for efficient mid-to-high range performance.

Both phones are equipped with a 7,000mAh battery, paired with 80W wired fast charging and 27W reverse wired charging. The Honor 600 Pro additionally supports 50W wireless fast charging, adding convenience for users who prefer cable-free charging.

Camera setup and imaging features

The highlight across both models is the 200-megapixel primary rear camera, which uses a large 1/1.4-inch sensor and includes optical image stabilisation. This setup is designed to deliver high-resolution images and improved performance in low-light conditions.

The Honor 600 Pro features a triple rear camera system that includes a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera offering a 112-degree field of view. The standard Honor 600 retains the main and ultrawide cameras but does not include the telephoto lens.

For selfies and video calls, both devices are equipped with a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture. A colour temperature sensor is also present on the rear to enhance colour accuracy in varying lighting conditions.

Real-world positioning

The Honor 600 Pro is positioned for users who require higher processing power, advanced zoom capabilities, and wireless charging support. The Honor 600 targets users who prioritise battery life and high-resolution photography while opting for a more balanced performance setup.

The Honor 600 series enters a competitive segment where brands are increasingly focusing on high-resolution sensors and fast charging technologies. By combining a 200MP camera with a large 7,000mAh battery, Honor is aligning the series with current trends around endurance and imaging capabilities.

The absence of a telephoto lens in the standard Honor 600 limits its zoom capabilities compared to the Pro model. Wireless charging is also exclusive to the Pro variant, creating a clear feature gap between the two devices.

The Honor 600 Pro and Honor 600 bring a consistent hardware approach with a focus on battery capacity and camera performance. With official specifications now listed ahead of launch, the series is positioned to compete in both flagship and upper mid-range segments, depending on final pricing and availability.
