itel has expanded its home audio portfolio in India with the launch of two new soundbars, the Soundbar 160W and Soundbar 120W. The new models focus on delivering higher output, deeper bass, and wider connectivity support at affordable price points. Both soundbars come equipped with the company's iThumpX Bass technology, Bluetooth 5.3, and Virtual 360-degree audio features.
The launch is significant for consumers looking to upgrade their TV audio setup without moving into premium pricing segments. The Soundbar 160W is priced at Rs 6,349, while the Soundbar 120W costs Rs 4,649, placing both products in the budget home entertainment category.
The higher-end Soundbar 160W features a Hi-Q quad-speaker configuration designed to deliver stronger and more room-filling sound output. The Soundbar 120W, meanwhile, uses a dual-speaker setup aimed at providing balanced audio performance for everyday entertainment needs.
Both models use neodymium magnet speaker units and a DSP chipset that enhances sound separation and clarity. itel has also included Virtual 360-degree audio technology, which is intended to create a wider soundstage when watching movies, streaming content, or gaming.
The new soundbars support Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity and include an LED display on the front panel. Users can switch between three dedicated EQ modes depending on the type of content being played.
For wired connections, the devices support HDMI ARC, Optical, AUX, USB, and SW Out ports. They can also be controlled using compatible TV remotes, reducing the need for multiple controllers. A wall-mount kit is included in the box, and both products are backed by a 12-month warranty.
The Soundbar 160W is better suited for larger rooms and users seeking higher volume output, while the 120W variant targets smaller living spaces and casual viewing setups. Both models are designed as affordable upgrades for televisions with limited built-in speaker performance.
