Nothing Phone (4b) Confirmed for July 7 Launch, New Design Teaser Reveals Dual-Camera Setup
Nothing has confirmed that the Nothing Phone (4b) will launch on July 7 in India and global markets, marking the debut of the company’s new “b” series. The upcoming smartphone is expected to serve as the entry point into the Nothing ecosystem, targeting buyers looking for the brand’s signature design at a more accessible price point.
The announcement is significant because it settles recent speculation around the device’s name while offering a fresh look at its design. Nothing’s latest teaser suggests the Phone (4b) could feature a dual-camera system, a 6.7-inch 120Hz display, and a 5,000mAh battery, with reports pointing to a launch price below ₹25,000 in India.
Nothing has released an updated design sketch showing a pill-shaped vertical camera module placed inside a rectangular camera island. The layout appears large enough to house more than one camera sensor, indicating a possible dual-camera setup despite earlier teasers suggesting otherwise.
A separate pill-shaped cutout sits alongside the camera module and is expected to contain the LED flash and autofocus hardware. The sketch also reveals a horizontal strip on the camera island, resembling the lighting element seen on previous Nothing smartphones.
Based on current information, the Nothing Phone (4b) is expected to feature a 6.7-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device may be powered by a MediaTek chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Camera details remain unconfirmed, but reports suggest a 50-megapixel primary rear camera alongside a secondary sensor. A 12-megapixel front-facing camera is also expected for selfies and video calls.
Nothing describes the new B Series as a distinct product line positioned below its flagship devices. The company says the series is intended to introduce new users to its broader ecosystem while maintaining a clearer product hierarchy.
