The HMD Luma2 has appeared in a fresh leak, revealing key specifications just months after the launch of the original Luma 4G. According to information shared by a reliable tipster, the upcoming budget smartphone is expected to feature a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 6,000mAh battery, and Android 16 out of the box.
The leak is notable because it suggests HMD is focusing on battery life and smoother everyday performance in the affordable segment. Alongside the large battery, the device is said to offer up to 256GB of storage and support for expandable memory via a microSD card.
HMD Luma2 Specifications
The HMD Luma2 is reportedly equipped with a 6.75-inch IPS LCD panel offering HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. While the resolution remains modest, the higher refresh rate could provide smoother scrolling and app navigation compared to many entry-level smartphones.
Powering the device is the Unisoc T7280 chipset, an octa-core processor based on the Unisoc T620 platform. It is paired with 4GB of RAM, with support for virtual RAM expansion, and comes in 128GB and 256GB storage variants.
