Vivo has published the official repair parts pricing for the newly launched Vivo X Fold 6 in China, offering owners a clearer picture of post-purchase maintenance costs. The foldable smartphone debuted with a starting price of 7,999 yuan for the 12GB + 256GB model and features a Dimensity 9500 chipset, a 200MP ZEISS main camera, a 7,000mAh battery, and dual AMOLED displays capable of reaching up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness.
As expected, the foldable inner display is the most expensive component to replace. Vivo lists the complete internal display assembly at 3,780 yuan, while a first-time repair discount reduces the cost to 2,835 yuan. Customers who reserve the repair in advance can replace the display for 3,380 yuan, and replacing only the inner display panel costs 1,899 yuan.
The external display is considerably less expensive to repair. Replacing the outer display glass costs 299 yuan, while the complete outer display assembly is priced at 920 yuan. Vivo also offers a reserved repair price of 620 yuan for the external display component.
Battery replacement is listed at 259 yuan, making it one of the most affordable repairs. Camera module pricing varies by component, with the front camera costing 105 yuan, the rear ultra-wide camera 110 yuan, the periscope telephoto camera 290 yuan, and the 200MP main camera module 390 yuan.
Motherboard replacement depends on the storage configuration. Prices range from 3,700 yuan for the 12GB + 256GB variant to 5,200 yuan for the top-end 16GB + 1TB model. A replacement charger set is available for 199 yuan.
The listed prices cover replacement parts only. For out-of-warranty repairs, Vivo charges a flat labor fee of 50 yuan per service visit, regardless of how many components are replaced during the same repair session. This policy helps reduce overall repair costs when multiple parts require replacement at once.
