The Redmi Note 17 series has surfaced in another leak ahead of its expected debut in China next month. The latest information outlines key specifications for the Redmi Note 17, Redmi Note 17 Pro, and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, pointing to larger batteries, updated chipsets, and improved camera hardware across the lineup.
If the leak proves accurate, the Redmi Note 17 family could introduce battery capacities ranging from 9,000mAh to 10,100mAh on the higher-end models. The series is also tipped to feature 1.5K OLED displays, new Snapdragon and MediaTek processors, and up to a 200-megapixel primary camera.
The standard Redmi Note 17 is tipped to feature a 6.83-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. It is expected to run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset and support 67W fast charging. The phone is also rumored to include a 50-megapixel rear camera and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro is said to retain a flat 1.5K display while upgrading to the newly introduced Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor. According to the leak, it may pack a 9,000mAh battery alongside a 50-megapixel primary camera. Dual stereo speakers and a fully water-resistant body are also expected.
At the top of the lineup, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is tipped to use MediaTek's Dimensity 7500 chipset. It could arrive with a 10,100mAh battery and a 200-megapixel main camera, making it the most feature-rich model in the series. Like the Pro variant, it is also rumored to offer dual speakers, a flat 1.5K display, and a fully water-resistant chassis.
Based on the leaked specifications, the Redmi Note 17 series appears to focus on battery capacity, display quality, and camera performance in the upper mid-range segment. These features would place it against other upcoming smartphones powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6-series and MediaTek's latest Dimensity chips.
Xiaomi has not officially announced the Redmi Note 17 series or confirmed any of these specifications. Details such as pricing, RAM and storage options, display refresh rate, battery technology, and launch date remain unverified until the company makes a formal announcement.
