The Xiaomi 18 has surfaced in a new leak, revealing what could be one of the most camera-focused flagship smartphones in its class. According to the leaked specifications, the device may feature a compact 6.4-inch LTPO OLED flat display, Qualcomm's next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset, and a massive 7,200mAh battery with 100W fast charging and wireless charging support.
Camera hardware is expected to be the biggest highlight. The leak points to a triple rear camera system co-engineered with Leica, including two 200-megapixel sensors for the main and periscope telephoto cameras, alongside a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
The Xiaomi 18 is tipped to use a 6.4-inch LTPO OLED flat display, which could deliver adaptive refresh rates for smoother scrolling while helping improve battery efficiency. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor is expected to power the device, targeting flagship-level performance for gaming, AI workloads, and multitasking.
Photography could receive a significant upgrade with a 200MP primary camera featuring optical image stabilization, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with telemacro support, and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. Leica optics are also expected to return, continuing Xiaomi's partnership for image processing and camera tuning.
Powering the device is a reported 7,200mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging and wireless charging, a combination that could offer both extended battery life and quick top-ups.
If these specifications are accurate, the Xiaomi 18 will compete in the premium flagship segment against upcoming devices from Samsung, Vivo, OPPO, and Honor. However, Xiaomi has not officially confirmed these details, so the leaked specifications should be treated as preliminary until the company makes an announcement.
