Asus has launched the 2026 Vivobook 15 in India, making it the country's first laptop powered by Intel's new Core 5 Series 3 processor. The notebook targets students, professionals, and everyday users with AI-ready hardware, a 15.6-inch Full HD display, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. It carries a launch price of ₹1,07,990.
The new processor includes Intel AI Boost with an integrated NPU capable of up to 16 TOPS, enabling AI-powered Windows experiences. Asus has also equipped the laptop with military-grade durability, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and a lightweight design that weighs approximately 1.7kg.
The Vivobook 15 features a 15.6-inch Full HD anti-glare display designed for everyday productivity, entertainment, and online learning. It is available in Cool Silver, Quiet Blue, and Terra Cotta finishes while meeting MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards for improved reliability.
Under the hood, the laptop combines Intel's Core 5 Series 3 processor with 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. A dedicated Copilot key, fingerprint reader, HD webcam with a privacy shutter, and Wi-Fi 6 round out the core feature set.
The hardware configuration makes the Vivobook 15 suitable for office work, web browsing, video streaming, online classes, and light creative workloads. The integrated AI Boost NPU also prepares the laptop for Microsoft's growing collection of AI-assisted Windows features.
The Vivobook 15 enters the mainstream laptop segment where it competes with similarly priced models from HP, Lenovo, Acer, and Dell. Its biggest differentiator is being the first laptop in India to ship with Intel's Core 5 Series 3 processor, although it does not include a dedicated graphics card for demanding gaming or professional GPU-intensive tasks.
The 2026 Asus Vivobook 15 focuses on balanced everyday performance, AI-ready computing, and modern connectivity in a lightweight chassis. With Intel's latest Core 5 Series 3 processor at its core, it offers an updated option for users looking for a productivity-focused Windows laptop without moving into the premium creator or gaming category.
