The software is not publicly available and remains part of Xiaomi's internal testing process, indicating that development is still in its early stages.
The leaked firmware references both the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra, suggesting that Xiaomi is validating its next-generation software alongside its upcoming flagship hardware. At this stage, there is no indication that these builds are intended for public beta testing or stable rollout.
The internal firmware reportedly carries build numbers OS3.0.330.11.XPCCNXM for the Xiaomi 17 and OS3.0.330.8.XPACNXM for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Both are engineering builds dated July 2, 2026, and are based on Android 17 rather than a new HyperOS branding.
Current testing appears to focus on core platform improvements, including Android 17 integration, flagship chipset optimization, thermal management, power efficiency, camera ISP tuning, and overall system stability. Reports indicate that new consumer-facing features or interface changes have not yet been introduced in these early builds.
Internal engineering firmware is designed for software validation and hardware testing rather than everyday use. While these builds confirm that development is progressing, they should not be interpreted as an announcement of an upcoming public release or final feature set.
The latest findings also suggest that Xiaomi is continuing development under the HyperOS 3.3 branch instead of moving directly to HyperOS 4.
