Samsung has officially confirmed that the Galaxy M47 will launch in India on June 29 and will be priced below ₹30,000. Ahead of the launch, the company has also revealed several key specifications, including a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, and a large 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
The Galaxy M47 is positioned in the upper mid-range segment and will receive six Android OS upgrades along with six years of security updates. Samsung has also confirmed LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and water and dust resistance, although the official IP rating has not yet been disclosed.
The Galaxy M47 features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for media consumption and everyday use. Powering the device is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage for faster app loading and improved multitasking.
For photography, Samsung has confirmed a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with optical image stabilization, accompanied by a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. A 12-megapixel front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.
A 6,000mAh battery supports 45W wired fast charging, targeting users who need extended battery life without frequent charging. Samsung has also confirmed water and dust resistance, though the exact certification will likely be announced during the official launch event.
With its confirmed hardware, long-term software support, and sub-₹30,000 pricing, the Galaxy M47 is set to compete in India's premium mid-range smartphone segment against devices powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6-series and comparable chipsets.
