Nothing has officially revealed the design of the upcoming Nothing Phone 4b ahead of its July 7 launch in India, giving the first detailed look at the company's new budget-focused smartphone series. The latest teaser confirms a blue colour option, a transparent rear panel, the signature Glyph Bar lighting system, and a redesigned dual-camera layout, while positioning the Phone 4b below the Phone 4a lineup.
The design reveal matters because it clarifies where the new "b" series fits in Nothing's portfolio. Rather than replacing the Phone 4a, the Phone 4b is intended to offer a more affordable entry point while retaining the brand's distinctive industrial styling. Full specifications remain under wraps, but the company has steadily confirmed several key design elements before launch.
Nothing Phone 4b design keeps the transparent look
The Phone 4b continues Nothing's recognizable transparent aesthetic with visible internal design elements across the rear panel. The updated camera module houses two rear cameras arranged vertically, accompanied by an LED flash. The Glyph Bar remains part of the design, replacing traditional notification LEDs with Nothing's signature lighting interface. The handset has also been confirmed in a blue finish alongside previously teased colour options.
While Nothing has not published the complete hardware sheet, reports indicate the phone could arrive with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor and 8GB of RAM. Those specifications, however, have not yet been officially confirmed by the company.
Positioned below the Phone 4a
Nothing says the new "b" series is designed to sit below the existing "a" lineup, making it the company's most affordable smartphone family under the Nothing brand. That places the Phone 4b in the competitive mid-range segment, where it is expected to rival devices from brands including Redmi, realme, Motorola and Samsung.
The company has not announced pricing, camera specifications, battery capacity, charging speeds or display details yet. Those are expected to be revealed during the official launch event scheduled for July 7.
With its familiar transparent design, Glyph lighting and lower market positioning, the Nothing Phone 4b appears aimed at buyers who want the brand's signature design language at a more accessible price point. Final hardware specifications, pricing and availability will become official at launch.
