iQOO has expanded its budget smartphone lineup in China with the launch of the iQOO Z11i. The new 5G handset combines Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor with a 6.74-inch HD+ 120Hz LCD display and a large 6,500mAh battery. The base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 1,299 yuan.
The iQOO Z11i is designed for users looking for long battery life and reliable day-to-day performance without moving into the premium price segment. It also brings UFS 3.1 storage, an IP65-rated body, OriginOS 6, and practical features such as a 3.5mm headphone jack and an IR blaster.
The smartphone features a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display supplied by BOE and TXD with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits high-brightness mode. The device measures 8.39mm thick, weighs 209g, and carries an IP65 rating for improved resistance against dust and water splashes.
Powering the phone is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage for faster app loading and smoother everyday performance. The software is based on OriginOS 6, offering the latest interface from iQOO for the Chinese market.
The rear camera setup includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, while selfies and video calls are handled by a 5-megapixel front camera. Although the camera hardware is modest, it covers the basic photography needs expected in this price category.
Battery life is one of the device's key highlights. The iQOO Z11i packs a 6,500mAh battery with 15W wired charging, making it suitable for extended daily use on a single charge. Connectivity options include 5G, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, dual SIM support, an IR blaster, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The iQOO Z11i is positioned in China's affordable 5G smartphone segment, where it competes with similarly priced models from Redmi, Honor, and realme. Its combination of a high-refresh-rate display, large battery, and UFS 3.1 storage makes it a practical option for users who prioritize battery endurance over advanced camera hardware.
