Realme has launched the Realme Narzo 100 Lite 5G in India, bringing a 6.8-inch HD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 7000mAh battery at an entry price of Rs. 13,499. The device combines a large screen, high refresh rate, and extended battery capacity, which are still uncommon together in this price segment.
It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and ships with Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0. The phone supports up to 6GB RAM, along with dynamic RAM expansion, and offers up to 128GB internal storage with microSD expansion up to 2TB.
The Realme Narzo 100 Lite 5G features a 6.8-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 1570×720 pixels and peak brightness of 900 nits. The 144Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling aim to improve responsiveness during scrolling and basic gaming. The device also carries IP64 dust and splash resistance and meets MIL-STD 810H durability standards.
The Dimensity 6300 chipset, built on a 6nm process, supports 5G connectivity across multiple bands. It is paired with a vapour chamber cooling system measuring over 5300 mm², designed to manage heat during extended usage.
The phone includes a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture and support for 1080p video recording. A 5-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls, also limited to 1080p recording.
A 7000mAh battery powers the device, with support for 15W wired charging and bypass charging. Additional hardware features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, and a bottom-ported speaker with enhanced volume output.
The Realme Narzo 100 Lite 5G starts at Rs. 13,499 for the 4GB + 64GB variant, while the 6GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs. 16,499. The first sale is scheduled for April 21 via Amazon and Realme’s official website, with introductory offers available on select variants.
The device is positioned for users who need long battery life, stable day-to-day performance, and access to 5G without moving into higher price brackets. The large display also supports media consumption and extended screen usage.
In the entry-level 5G segment, most devices offer smaller batteries or standard 60Hz to 120Hz displays. The combination of a 7000mAh battery and a 144Hz panel sets this model apart, even as competitors may offer sharper displays or faster charging.
The HD+ resolution limits display sharpness, while the camera system remains basic with a single primary sensor. Charging speed at 15W is also slower compared to some alternatives.
