The Infinix Note 60 Pro is scheduled to launch in India on April 13 at 12 PM IST, with availability expected via Flipkart and the company’s online store. The device brings a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, alongside Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset built on a 4nm process.
It also includes a 6500mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 30W wireless charging. A 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation and Android 16-based XOS 16 are part of the confirmed hardware and software setup.
Design and Display
The phone adopts a flat-frame design with a rectangular rear camera module. This module integrates what Infinix calls an “Active Matrix Display,” an LED-based system embedded within the camera island. The company has not detailed its exact functionality for the India variant so far.
On the front, the 6.78-inch AMOLED panel offers a resolution of 1208×2644 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness is rated at up to 4500 nits under specific conditions, and the display is protected by Gorilla Glass.
Performance and Software
The Note 60 Pro runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. It is expected to be offered with up to 8GB RAM or higher depending on the variant, along with 256GB internal storage. The device ships with Android 16 and XOS 16 out of the box.
Camera and Battery
The rear camera system includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. A 13MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording.
Battery capacity is set at 6500mAh, with support for fast wired charging and wireless charging, a combination that remains uncommon in this segment.
The device is positioned in the mid-range segment and targets users who prioritise display quality, battery capacity, and a balanced chipset for everyday use and moderate gaming.
Competition and Limitations
It enters a competitive category where most devices typically focus on either performance or display. However, detailed information about secondary camera performance and final RAM variants remains limited, and storage expansion is not supported.
The Infinix Note 60 Pro combines a high-refresh AMOLED display, a recent Snapdragon chipset, and a large battery with both wired and wireless charging. Final pricing and complete variant details will determine its position in the Indian smartphone market.
