The Reno 16 stands out with a triple 50MP rear camera setup that includes a 3.5x optical telephoto lens, while both phones feature a 50MP ultra-wide front camera with a 100-degree field of view. Oppo has also confirmed 4K 60fps video recording support and several AI-powered photography features across the lineup.
Oppo Reno 16 Series Specifications and Features
The Oppo Reno 16 features a 6.32-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits. The larger Reno 16c uses a 6.57-inch AMOLED panel with the same refresh rate but a lower 1,400-nit peak brightness. Both devices are built with an aerospace-grade aluminium frame and carry IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K durability ratings.
Photography remains a major focus. The Reno 16 combines a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom with an 85mm equivalent focal length. The Reno 16c retains the 50MP main and ultra-wide cameras but skips the telephoto lens. Both phones include a dual flash system and support features such as AI Remix Collage, Pop Cam, Popout 2.0, and Dual-View Video 2.0.
