DJI Osmo Pocket 4 has been officially announced with a 1-inch CMOS sensor, 4K video recording at up to 240fps, and 107GB built-in storage. The compact gimbal camera focuses on stabilized handheld shooting while adding faster internal storage, improved tracking, and updated controls.
What stands out this time is not just the hardware, but the availability of multiple bundles including Essential, Standard, and Creator Combo variants. These configurations change how the device is positioned, from a basic handheld camera to a complete creator kit with audio and lighting accessories.
DJI Osmo Pocket 4 specifications and hardware
The Osmo Pocket 4 features a 1-inch CMOS sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and a 20mm equivalent focal length. It supports up to 37MP still images and offers improved dynamic range for better detail retention in both highlights and shadows.
A 2-inch touchscreen remains central to the interface, now supporting additional controls including zoom toggles and customizable shortcuts. The inclusion of 107GB internal storage with transfer speeds up to 800MB/s reduces reliance on external cards during active shooting.

Video capabilities and camera performance
The device records 4K video at up to 60fps in standard mode and supports slow-motion recording at up to 240fps. It also includes 10-bit D-Log, enabling more flexibility in post-production and better color grading control.
Additional shooting modes such as timelapse, hyperlapse, and motion-based effects remain part of the system, with HEVC compression used to maintain quality while managing file sizes.
Models and bundle differences
DJI has introduced the Osmo Pocket 4 in three primary bundles, each targeting a different type of user.
The Essential Combo is the base configuration, including the camera unit, a basic handle, and a carrying pouch. It is positioned as the entry-level option for users who want the core shooting experience without additional accessories.
The Standard Combo builds on this by adding accessories such as a wrist strap and gimbal clamp, making it more practical for regular handheld use and travel shooting.
The Creator Combo is the most complete package. It includes a wide-angle lens, mini tripod, attachable fill light, and the DJI Mic 3 wireless microphone system. This version is designed for creators who need an all-in-one setup for video, audio, and lighting without external gear.

Stabilization, tracking and controls
The three-axis mechanical gimbal remains a core feature, offering stabilization across pan, tilt, and roll movements. DJI has introduced ActiveTrack 7.0, improving subject tracking accuracy even during zoom or movement.
Control methods include physical buttons, a joystick, touchscreen input, and gesture recognition, allowing users to start recording or enable tracking without touching the display.
Battery, audio and connectivity
The device uses a 1545mAh battery with recording times exceeding 200 minutes depending on settings. Fast charging enables quick top-ups for extended shooting sessions.
Audio capabilities include a built-in multi-microphone array and direct connectivity with DJI wireless microphones, supporting multi-source recording without additional receivers.
The Osmo Pocket 4 is aimed at vloggers, mobile journalists, and solo creators who need stabilized video in a compact form. The different bundle options allow users to choose between a minimal setup or a complete production kit.
The camera continues to use a fixed lens, limiting focal flexibility. Most upgrades are incremental, focusing on performance improvements rather than major hardware redesign.
DJI Osmo Pocket 4 refines the pocket gimbal camera category with better slow-motion video, faster storage, and improved tracking. The introduction of multiple bundles makes it more adaptable, allowing users to scale from basic shooting to a full creator setup depending on their needs.
