DJI has officially confirmed that the Mic Mini 2S wireless microphone will debut on July 2, bringing two of the most requested upgrades to its compact audio lineup. The new model adds 14.5GB of built-in storage for onboard recording and supports up to four transmitters connected to a single receiver, making it a more capable option for creators who need reliable multi-person audio.
The biggest change is internal recording with support for both 24-bit and 32-bit float audio, allowing users to capture a backup recording directly on the transmitter. That feature helps protect recordings if a wireless connection is interrupted or a camera fails to save audio, something many solo creators and videographers have been asking for.

Despite the new recording capabilities, the Mic Mini 2S keeps the lightweight design of the Mic Mini series. The transmitter weighs 12 grams and retains the interchangeable magnetic front covers available in multiple colors. DJI has also carried over its two-level AI noise reduction system and three voice tone presets: Regular, Rich, and Bright.
