The Xiaomi 17T Pro and Xiaomi 17T have surfaced online with updated hardware details, bringing larger batteries, Leica-branded camera systems, and high-refresh-rate OLED panels. The two phones are expected to run HyperOS 3 and continue Xiaomi’s focus on premium mid-range and flagship-tier performance.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro appears positioned as the more advanced model with a 6.83-inch 144Hz flat OLED display, MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, and a 7,000mAh battery paired with 100W wired charging. It also supports 50W wireless charging, which remains uncommon in this segment.

The camera setup on the Xiaomi 17T Pro includes a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 950 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. A 32-megapixel front camera is expected for selfies and video calls. Xiaomi is also continuing its Leica Summilux optical lens branding on the device.
The standard Xiaomi 17T uses a smaller 6.59-inch 120Hz flat OLED display and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor. It carries a 6,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. Unlike the Pro model, wireless charging has not been mentioned so far.

Its camera hardware remains relatively close to the Pro variant, including a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 main sensor, a 50-megapixel JN5 periscope telephoto camera with 5x zoom, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
The specifications suggest Xiaomi is targeting users who want long battery life, high refresh rate displays, and advanced zoom photography without moving into ultra-premium pricing territory. The devices are likely to compete with upcoming phones from brands such as OnePlus, iQOO, and realme in the high-performance Android segment.
One limitation, however, is the lack of confirmed information around IP rating, software update policy, and global availability. Xiaomi has also not revealed pricing or launch timing for either device yet.
