Creative has introduced the XF1 desktop speakers, a new 2.0-channel audio system designed for users who want high-resolution sound in a compact desktop setup. The speakers feature a built-in Hi-Res DAC, Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, and a total output of 72W RMS. Priced at SGD 249 (around $192), the Creative XF1 will be available from July 16 in Black and White color options.
The Creative XF1 targets music listeners, gamers, and content creators who need higher-quality audio without moving to a larger speaker system. Key highlights include dual Hi-Res Audio certifications, LDAC wireless support, a frequency response range of 55Hz to 40kHz, and support for 24-bit/96kHz audio playback through USB-C.
The XF1 uses a bi-amplified two-way speaker architecture with dedicated amplification for each driver. Each speaker houses a 3-inch woofer and a ¾-inch tweeter, helping deliver a combined 72W RMS output while maintaining low distortion across different volume levels.
Creative has equipped the speakers with a built-in DAC capable of handling 24-bit/96kHz audio. Wireless connectivity is handled through Bluetooth 6.0 with support for SBC, AAC, and LDAC codecs. Users can also connect devices through USB-C audio and a 3.5mm AUX input.
